Kingsley Guo
Kingsley is a Chinese-Canadian actor based in New York City. He received his BFA in Theatre from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where he trained at the Meisner Studio, Experimental Theatre Wing, and Stonestreet Studios’ residency program for Screen Acting. He also double-minored in Producing and Business of Entertainment, Media and Technology.
Born in Toronto and raised in Beijing, Kingsley returned to Canada at twelve. He soon enrolled in his first drama class to improve his English and gain confidence. There, he discovered the power of his voice and developed a deep passion for acting.
Kingsley is also a meme connoisseur, drag aficionado and former competitive fencer of nine years (Chinese National Champion & Team Ontario).
Most recently, Kingsley starred as Joe Mitchell in Waiting for Lefty, directed by Lucille Lortel Award winner nicHi douglas, as part of NYU Tisch Drama’s 50th Anniversary Main Stage Season:
